YES YOU CAN!...VOLUNTEER as a...
Horse Leader...responsible for leading and controlling horse throughout the class period.
Side Walker...responsible for the safety of the rider and to interact an assist with the lesson for the day.
Stable Hand...assist student in tacking the horse before class and untacking after class.  Daily chores are sometimes affected by weather but include stall mucking, water bucket cleaning, throwing down hay from the layloft, sweeping the barn aisle, etc.
Groomers..prepare horse for daily activities by brushing the horse's tail, mane and body.
Horse Buddy...become a special friend and "buddy UP" with one of our therapy horses.  Work with your "buddy" two or three times a week - go for walks, groom, bathe, and give them some extra TLC!
Committee Member...We are developing several committees as we look forward to increasing our enrollment this year and receiving our NOT FOR PROFIT status. We wll create additional committees as the need arises but for now you can VOLUNTEER to be a member of the following committees...

PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL...This group of five parents will become the "THINK TANK" for The MAGICAL Meadows as they focus on rider, parent and volunteer participation.  Special attention will be given to community outreach and support.  The council members for 2009 are Ron (chairman) and Angie, John, Jerri, and Heidi.The TEAM will meet with all committee leaders/members  on a quarterly basis to hear reports, share ideas and CELEBRATE our successes.  As a parent or MAGICALsupporter, please contact Ron (rpac@ themagicalmeadows.com)  if you have any ideas, suggestions or concerns for The TEAM to address.
